Connection
This is a domestic violence shelter for single women and women and their children. change in these women and children’s lives is facilitated through the creation of individualized spaces and an emphasis on community. The shelter is a canvas, allowing the inhabitants to connect with and illustrate their true self to the world, thus promoting spiritual, emotional, and mental healing.

The community space on the first floor, with quiet work areas, play space, administration, community meeting rooms, and health and counseling.
Aid and council is offered through the many intimate administration offices.
The second floor play space, perfect for children to play around and make their own.
The play spaces occupy niches otherwise not utilized, creating a playful moment.
The community kitchen creates a moment for all occupants to come together in a welcoming environment, gathered around a meal.
