Dirt floors are homes to bacteria and parasites contributing disease. Replacing dirt floors with concrete floors improves the family’s health, improving their ability to climb out of poverty. Through a cost effective, low-tech, concrete flooring intervention paired with education campaigns, ARCHIVE Global’s Mud to Mortar reduces the burden of disease and improves overall health and quality of life in beneficiary families in Savar, Bangladesh.
